Orange Chicken: This is a healthy version of the popular Chinese takeout dish. It has tender chicken pieces coated in a sweet and tangy orange sauce, served with steamed green beans or broccoli. It is high in protein, vitamin C, and antioxidants. Recipe
Steps :-
Ingredients: skinless chicken breasts, green beans or broccoli, toasted sesame oil, orange juice, chicken broth, coconut aminos, honey, garlic powder, fresh ginger, orange zest, pepper
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, chicken broth, coconut aminos, honey, garlic powder, ginger, and orange zest.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thickened and glossy.
Steam the green beans or broccoli in a microwave-safe bowl with some water for about 5 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
Serve the chicken and sauce over rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice, and top with the green beans or broccoli.
